CROYDON SYMPHONIC BAND
We are a community wind band founded in 1973 and we welcome all wind and percussion players of all ages and standards to its weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings in West Croydon. There are no auditions. We regularly perform concerts in and around the Croydon area as well as on tour in Britain and Europe. Our repertoire ranges from original 20th and 21st century concert band pieces to film scores, television music, West End musicals, jazz arrangements and there’s also some Disney! We continue to add to our extensive library in order to keep our programmes fresh and exciting for both our audiences and our players! We are entirely self-supporting and financed through membership subscriptions and revenue from concerts.
